Various Artists - Screaming Death LP

This going to make a ton of AOTY lists, for very good reasons. What we have here is an international comp of four blistering, raw and fast HC bands. Scarecrow and Destruct from the U.S. on side A, and Dissekerad from Sweden and Ratcage from the UK on the flip. This shakes out to roughly an EP's worth of face ripping madness per band. If you dig the format and flow of the Thrash Til' Death comp or those bootleg "4 NYHC 7"s on an LP" comps, this record has a similar feel and presentation. All of the bands rip, and the entire package in terms of layout and art is pretty flawless. Reverseboard matte full color cover, full sized 24" x 36" poster and nifty fold out insert. One of the best comps that I've seen in ages.
